Participant Information
Workshop participants are encouraged to sign up to Open AI's DALLE-2 - https://openai.com/product/dall-e-2
It is a free programme which requires a account and you will receive 30 free credits. Please keep these credits available to use within the workshop.
If you have prior experience to using other text-to-image generators such as Midjourney, you are welcome to use this within the workshop instead of DALLE-2 if you would prefer.
Sound Generation
For Part 2 of the workshop, attendees will be encouraged to create a short audio or MIDI composition to imagine how their instruments invention(s) would sound like if brought to the physical world. Therefore, please bring a computer with you if you have one available to you with a DAW of your choice installed. If you do not have access to a computer, please let the workshop facilitator know and we will provide one for you.
Please also bring a pair of headphones with you to the workshop to work on the compostion part of this workshop.

PhD Research
This workshop will be part of my PhD research and particpants will be asked if they are okay to be filmed for documentation. The relevant privacy and consent forms will be provided on the day and participants can withdraw from the study at any point. If you do not wish to be filmed, you are still very welcome to the workshop.
